This ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) kit is intended for the quantitative determination of human neuron specific enolase (NSE) levels in human serum samples. An abnormally elevated NSE level in serum was found in patients with neuronendocrine differentiated tumors such as small cell lung cancer and neuroblastoma, melanoma, seminoma; and with injury of central nervous system such as traumatic brain injury (TBI).
