This q-FOB™ test kit is intended for the detection of fecal occult blood by the quantitative determination of human hemoglobin levels in stool samples. This assay exclusively measures human hemoglobin without a cross reaction with animal blood. The test is useful for detecting the severity of gastrointestinal bleeding and aids the screening for colorectal adenoma/polyps and cancer, as well as other inflammatory bowel diseases (Crohn’s disease, Ulcerative Colitis, etc.).
